Modern kitchen with wooden slats, black countertop, faucet, and a gray chair

Architecture is more than wood and concrete; it is YOU.

All I knew about architecture was what I saw on This Old House*. I liked the tactile and practical aspects of construction merged with artistic creativity. The only architect I knew was my uncle who always gave the best Christmas gifts - piles of books and a Hess truck. But we never talked architecture growing up. And so I went into this field knowing as much as most people, that it is a cool sounding business without much knowledge of what an architect actually does.

Architecture offered more than I could have imagined. First, it was the best education format; instead of rote fact memorization, it stressed a perpetual unlearning and learning, expansion and focusing of our minds.

What I discovered is that in architecture, in the creation of our homes and spaces, we have a potential waiting to be unlocked. My purpose is to unlock the potential of your home, your lifestyle, so that you can live the most aligned way possible. Aligned with your values and sensibilities.

Now, I want you to have the same epiphany - that architecture is more than wood and concrete (No more than your spouse is a collection of carbon and calcium) it is YOU.

All the potential you have, architecture has for you, lying in wait for you to accept. It reflects our values back at us, it tells us where to go. Architecture’s front doors are the hello's and handshakes of the built world.
